Dimitri Daskalothanasis is an Athens-born, Paris-based musician, who was educated in piano and flute before earning advanced degrees in Musicology in Thessaloniki and Paris. He played bass with Moussikes Taxiarchies, co-founded Diesel with Loukas Sideras of Aphrodite’s Child, and collaborated with leading Greek artists. His work spans theater, dance, and recordings, including the poetry-inspired album Geografia (2011).
“All days are nights to see till I see thee” is a concert-performance, a journey that weaves together traditions and memories through music, poetry, and live visual creation.
At the heart of the project are Shakespeare’s sonnets, Greek and French poetry and the compositions of Dimitri Daskalothanasis, which recall patterns from the Mediterranean tradition blended with pop soundscapes.
